Join the Common Read/Common World committee and other returning students, faculty and staff as we come together at the Mitchell Center to celebrate the start of a new academic school year.
While new students and new faculty are the guests of honor for Convocation, we encourage all faculty, staff and returning students to join us as we welcome our new Jaguars to South. You won鈥檛 want to miss this special kick-off event. There will be a few big surprise performances, and several fun giveaways for students.
Community Garden Tailgate
Saturday, November 2 before the Jags take on Georgia Southern (Time TBA)
Tailgate with the Common Read and the Biology Student Association at the Community Garden, where students can plant and harvest food to be donated to the campus food pantry, JagPantry. The garden is located near the Intramural Fields at these coordinates: 30.693990, -88.194166
